Welcome!
It should be done long time ago but as each and every one of the band's members are busy, we don't really have time to create an official web or what ever they call it to promote our band. Having said that, it is about time to have one!Please welcome D'Salapa
We do hope, with this blog, we would be able to share our band activities to our faithful followers. It is also a way to promote ourselves. And to those of you who are looking for a music band to play in an occasion like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, house-warming, office annual parties, festivals, talent-time, school re-unions and etc. please do not hesitate to contact us [any of the band's members] for appointment. Our prices are reasonable and negotiable. It is also depends on what and where the functions are being held.
For introductory, allow us to say a few words on this band. This band has been set up more than 20 years ago. We were inspired by our parents who first set the band namely 'The Juniors'. We were just a kid then! With full of interest, we then learnt to play music instruments like guitars and drums from them. We didn't attend music school - we learn for free!
When our parents retired from playing music, we continue their effort. From playing at kampungs, now we are able to play at prominent hotels like Sutera Harbour, Shangri-la Tg Aru, Hyatt, Promenade, Airport View or at places like Putera Restaurant, Atlantis, KDCA, Tun Fuad Hall, Penampang Cultural Centre and etc. We received many invitations such as weddings [including Malays' wedding], dinner parties, festivals' open houses and many more. We also had played at Sabah State Government's functions.
We played any kind of music [oldies and latest] but we are specially known for 'The Shadows' music. And we can play one or two Chinese songs, just in case there's a request. The demand are great so we have to practice always. Don't worry, we will never stop learning - we are at your service, anytime and anywhere!
